The book had a better version of the second half and leaving Murtagh out of the different scenes lacks depth. Also having HorRocks or what ever his name is fool you once, fool you twice, get killed then why would you all be dumb enough to be fooled a third time making the characters - Jamie, Ian and Claire look naive…
