Do… do you know what slavery is?

I was a huge fan of Game Grumps when it first started. I'd just started college and it was a really rough year for me, and watching that stuff every day was one of the things that helped me get through it. And now all those fond memories are tainted because it turns out JonTron is totally down to clown with fascism.

My uncle became a pretty fundamentalist Christian earlier in his life, and as such I've gotten the same presents from him every year since I was born. I have like 7 different Bibles (most of them those "Hip 4 The Kids!" types) and twice as many weird Christian fiction books, movies, and comics. He's sent me two Chick

The Trump music hijacking that upset me the most (except maybe for Queen) was when a Trumpet used The Protomen's new single "Hold Back the Night" for a pro-Donald video. I love that band, and they're still obscure enough that a ton of people now primarily associate them with this rancid shit-spewing fuckpile.

I truly love this drink, but I always have to describe it instead of saying its name. For some reason it's like a tongue twister to me.

I work at a movie theater, and the trailer for White Jesus Adventures has been playing on those "Trailervision" screens for a few weeks now. Apparently, according to "faith leaders everywhere," it's "an exhilarating family experience." And hey, if you can't trust those faith leaders, who can you trust?

I work at a movie theater, and the trailer for this godforsaken movie is one of the eight trailers that plays on a loop on those "motion-poster" screens. Every day, as I prepare popcorn, sell customers popcorn, or clean popcorn off the floor, I hear the familiar strains of "Cariboo-ya!", "You even SMELL like a polar

Good, good, let the hate flow through you!

Yeah, I get that— racist minds can work in weird ways and it can be funny sometimes in its inconsistency. The way I read that joke just made it seem more like making fun of the outrage than the racism.
You monster.

After years of being told directly and indirectly that anti-Asian racism isn't REAL racism I personally don't find it as funny. It mostly just puts me in a shitty mood that sometimes manifests as pissy internet comments.

I was referring to your later comment— the one that starts with "I don't know, it seems like a pretty funny conspiracy". It's the one right after the initial "whitewashing" one and right before what seems to be some unnecessary condescension.

They just said that rewriting characters so they didn't have to cast Asian people was bad. Where are you getting this conspiracy thing?

"We can stop Asian people from acting in movies! We have the technology!"

"That's not an improvement…" - Pestrong Jacksad

Boy, I like this show almost as much as I hate its fanbase.
