We want base hits!

Hence Florida

Get October Rust, too, while you're at it. It's right in line with BK.

Opened for Pantera at Nassau Coliseum in '9…5? Rocked the chain strap. Awesome. Another one of those rare bandleaders who had a musical vision and stuck with it…and then intentionally made it a joke by making everything green. Well done, and thanks, giant sir.

Yeah, it's too bad. Without being trite or callous, his life ended the say a ton of his songs did: just stopped. I really liked the Type O sound.

Begin the thawing of Richard Dawson

Seconded. Snabba Cash is awesome: fun to say, fun to read.

…and why I never will.

How many of these bands CAN you take seriously? The ones with the perma-frown, the zombie makeup, or the ones with song titles lifted from medical journals? It's been remarked upon before, but it's always interesting how metal and humor don't mix.

Plus they're touring with High on Fire and Priestess! (I'd add more exclamation points but that would make me a teenage girl.)

The Ocean
Aeolian was glorious. Too bad this song doesn't sound like the same band. Overwrought. Bummer.

There is no such thing as "too-hooker."*

Ick.
Makes me long for Ice Age 3.

If this album ever does truly "colossally rock," it doesn't do so in the first ten minutes. And ten minutes of this is more than enough for me to pass.

It wasn't metal, but Kaki played DRUMS for my rock band for about a month in college. I didn't even know she played guitar until years later. As if I hadn't had ENOUGH of a crush on her.

Wblake: You're absolutely right. Compared to the first Bungle album, this is boring, typical, and uninteresting.
However, compared to everything I've heard on the goddam radio in the last couple of years, this wins; it's neither trite nor pretentious, and while it may be a grandiose production, it's certainly not

But what about the GAMEPLAY?!

Punticipation
I like the trend of preempting all the hacks by predicting their lame 'clever' lines.

Gallian Krueger

I'm looking forward to trying one in the same way I'm looking forward to the county fair.
