Isn't that what kickstarted the phrase "bruised forearm movie"? I'm pretty sure he started using that in several other movies after his review for Temple of Doom

If I'm not mistaken, the Partridge, MN scenes were filmed in Old Towne Orange, self-proclaimed "Antiques Capital of Southern California" when I was a student at Chapman University a decade ago.
You're Satan, aren't you?
I don't know why it resonates with me the way it does, but I love that one of his early movies was titled "I Blow Up"
Does this guy know how to party or what?
Have you ever been to Columbus? Its the perfect place for nefarious activities because seriously, besides Ohio State students (and the Ohio state legislature…) who the hell willingly goes there for anything?

Like I said somewhere else, its amazing they still have any sports programs at all and that the NCAA hasn't sanctioned them back to the stone age.
Even as a fan of the Buckeyes, Fat Tony is completely appropriate (OSU is all sports and no academics…frankly, its amazing despite all the illegal shit they do that they still have a football program), but Mr. Burns as Michigan is fantastic.

Columbus and Cincinnati have pretty robust economies, IIRC.
Test for Echo came out in 1996. Rush didn't release an album that year (Power Windows came out in 1985, Hold Your Fire was released in 1987)
Metrocenter is in pretty sad shape nowadays, but it always amused me as a Phoenix resident that while the first movie was supposed to take place in San Dimas CA, almost all principal photography took place in Metro Phoenix (Metrocenter Mall, Golfland/Sunsplash standing in for Raging Waters, Coronado High School in…
