Hakeem is probably 18, since 17 years went by when Cookie was in prison. Jamal was 18 when he married Olivia. (Said in an earlier episode.) So if Lola is 5, Jamal would be around 23. So yeah, If Hakeem was 12/13 in the flashback he would probably look way younger than Jamal.
