Baratunde was also on The Nerdist! He was very interesting and fun to listen to, plus for most of the podcast it was just him and Chris Hardwick.

Travis speaking in an Irish accent.

Tim and Eric were on a recent episode of Bullseye. I know not everybody is a Jesse Thorn fan (I am) but he does a great job interviewing pop culture people. I found the interview to be really interesting and it might be able to scratch that itch the way the Nerdist ep wasn't able to do for you.

Throwing Shade with Erin Gibson and Bryan Safi.

I like Nick "Repeat" Adams quite a bit. He's always a good addition.

Yeah, I'd say my troop had a similar breakdown. We probably would have made a catapult to accompany the tower, because catapults are cool.

Prior to Carl's arrival there wasn't much to draw the attention of the stuck zombie. When prey was nearby it managed to pull itself free.

Cool thanks. Sometimes it's hard to know where to start when there are so many episodes.

I liked it too. Justin and Griffin are clearly more experienced in podcasting, but listening to the other two try and explain their choices was like listening to an 8 year old explain a movie or a game. For some reason it made me laugh quite a bit.

It was awesome when Griffin was rebutted by Dax Sheppard in Idiocracy.

I agree with you on the whole LA scene insularity. That's one of the reasons I enjoy Jordan Jesse Go! as they tend to pull in guests that aren't on every other podcast. I know not everybody enjoys Jordan or Jesse, but that's more a matter of personality. They still have some of the same guests that appear on other

I think you just end up being more selective with your podcasts. Sure some of the guest show up on multiple shows, but how many are you really listening to? I started with a bunch of different shows and ended up settling on the hosts I liked.

Can you recommend a good starting point for Flophouse? I downloaded some of their recent episodes and have listened to one so far. It didn't really hook me, but people around here seem to like it so I want to give it a chance.

I think the Sklar brothers have done a good job at staying out of the rut Heisler is talking about. Sure they have on the same guests as a lot of other shows, but they have a particular angle on what they talk about: Sports. Some of the guests are able to actively engage in that topic (surprisingly Maria Bamford was

I live right around from a street named Henderson and now whenever I drive on it I find myself shouting HENDERSON! (usually in my head so I don't get a wierd look from my wife)

World War Z addressed taking the offensive against zombies and it did a good job of it.

I don't think it's necessarily fair to label Juno as a pro-life movie. It's not a simple case of it being either pro-life or pro-choice. It's this sort of grey area that despite the silly dialogue of a teenager captures a lot of real emotion.

He just watched a guy get his face eaten by a hoard of zombies. Up until that point I don't think he really had been exposed to what was going on.

My Ash died way back in Mass Effect 1.
