This feels like Maude Flanders all over again.
This feels like Maude Flanders all over again.
It is a little known fact that Eugene Levy is once was a merciless and cunning man who betrayed the trust of Zeus. As penance, he must spend eternity portraying the same hapless middle age man in an endless procession of mediocre and direct-to-DVD movies.
Only as the world ends shall Eugene Levy find peace.
It's moments like this when I wish Andy Rooney were still alive to make befuddled, reactionary statements without any grasp of the issue at hand.
I second this proposal.
Still picking on Detroit? Can't we move onto one of the other many hellish post industrial cities that spot the country?
In Oregon people are up in arms (people who really like wolves and listen to NPR anyway) over the depiction of wolves as savage creatures.
What must all evil moguls smokes cigars? Is there such a thing as a kindly old mogul?
Australia has in fact surpassed us.
I am still very fond of the Top Gear adventures in America.
Yes and no. You have to remember that the Air Force was brands new in WW2 (it has been part of the Army) and the pilots were young.
I'm not convinced @lobsters1. I'm pretty sure that Americans overcoming their dislike of each other to kill Nazis is about the most digestable plot this side of Americans overcoming their dislike of each other to kill mean transformers.
Totally. The real story stands on its own merits. There is no need to invent conflict to make the story better.
Not from the last 30 years anyway. It would be interesting to see if someone a little more skilled and comfortable with the material could make a Battle of Britain movie. Or Midway? Or the dam busters? Or Flying tigers?
It's a little hard to imagine Archer going much beyond a 4th season. While the characters are strong and there's been enough evolution to keep the jokes fresh the 3 episode arc left me feeling like there wasn't anything that hadn't already been done.
I for one applaud that Priceline is at least giving the watching public a much needed sense of closure.
It's dissapointing to hear that Aaron McGruder couldn't make something great out of the scripts. The Boondocks had some little hints at Granpa's history as a Red Tail, and the "Mo' Guns" episode showed how much fun McGruder could have with WW2 material.
I'm going to risk the unrelenting ire of you all and say:
Maybe on the West side - seems like glasses have 100% saturation in the Eat.
So basically (minus the acting) Ashton Kutcher is playing Vince from entourage?
Agreed @Japan:disqus - Scientology has been big on litigation and Tom Cruise is a key asset for Paramount (hurray corporate families!) so taking a shot at Scientology, Hayes and L. Ron Hubbard in one sitting was a bold move.
