Are we doing that again?

C'mon, Max had a series of the hottest dudes on the show!

I didn't make that connection between the characters but I definitely feel the same way about April. Rosa to me is older and potentially world weary, and comes off as won't-put-up-with-this-shit but with clear moments of humanity and sympathy even in season 1. April always seemed like a bratty teenager to me.

I like how Schmidt's line means he inherently believes all scientists to be men.

Counterpoint: "It's like shooting candy into a baby."

Why isn't this a novelty account yet??

I don't watch It's Always Sunny (YET) but I almost leaped through the TV screen to punch him when he said he was a Red Sox fan. I don't know how Danny restrained himself.

Ehhh I tend to believe that if you're supporting inequality passively, especially if you're in a position to counter it actively, you're condoning said inequality.

Ha, yes. It's hard to watch at times, but an honest depiction of racism is so much more gratifying than glossing over it entirely.

Just wanted to chime in and agree, and thank you for clearly pointing out that being neutral in this case is supporting institutionalized racism, which in many ways can be more harmful than the rioting violent racism.

Love this perspective, thank you. Frankly, Algie was the only reason I stuck around this show after the first episode, and while I adore the show and they haven't let me down quite yet, I'm pretty sensitive to exactly what you describe as his tokenism. I don't care how the other characters react to him, I care about…

Ah, the slapstick potential of said whiteboard slipping off with no neck to keep it in place.

I relate to this very much. I need a day or two to recover from drinking these days, and generally believe that food is the best cure.

I thought Danny was the sweat guy!

She's 'overweight' in the way that plus size models are. So, yeah, normal.

Fancy jackets as tops constantly weird me out. Like, you wouldn't even wear a camisole? A skin-tight tank?

I'm a little jealous that you're hungover on a Wednesday morning, but I'm going with avatar/comment synergy.

Those are two very, very different situations. I was terrified during that entire scene that he would assault her right there and then; I think his dialogue made it clear the many reasons she would think twice about kicking up a fuss.

And then Bill still dies. Perfect.
