He was, but the rest of the gang was black, and the entire thing (particularly promos) was very 'scary black gang'. Grimm is so very white the rest of the time that it definitely stood out.

I will never tired of Jim Rash's deliveries on lines like that.

I just don't watch this show for shipping. I watch many others for the ships, and I will freely admit it, but on Community it always rings false, and pandering-y.

I actually thought it was a hat tip to that scene from 30 Rock and it felt weird that they changed it slightly.

Isn't Stephanie Jacobsen Australian?

I was confused, too, and assumed it was a gift from Emily for the wedding or something. Because the entire time I wondered how they could guarantee she'd be wearing it for the 'shooting'.

I, for one, CERTAINLY have NO IDEA of what you speak regarding this "new" 90210.

An interesting point: this show says more without saying anything at all than most do with all their dialogue. (Justified, of course, being a clear exception), I barely notice the lack of explanation, of outburst, of angst, because they have developed characters and situations so deftly.

I haven't read any GGK for years, pretty much since I tried to read Ysabel (or was it Last Light of the Sun?) and gave up. And this is as someone who counts Tigana and Lions of al-Rassan among her all time favourites. Should I just skip to River of Stars? How was Under Heaven?

Seriously, I loved that book. It was pretty much perfect from start to finish and made me simultaneously desperate to recreate a walking tour of its 1899 NYC and to dive deep into middle eastern mythology.

Just need to reiterate: Pally in a 3-piece suit. Max cleans up NICE.

The episode where Lorelai saves Luke's kid's birthday party was on two days ago. I was on high alert, but I did like the way they went, with her mostly making fun of what a mess Hank made of things.

Just because someone's a feminist doesn't mean they would automatically side with Julia.

Now that's an interesting take. Talking about what it takes to be a successful solo artist, and the levels of success (local all the way to stadium), as something the show is exploring here. Who has what it takes to get to the next level, through talent and showmanship, and who actually wants it?

I honestly thought Luke Wheeler was a real life country star making a cameo when he showed up that week. He is ridiculously convincing in the role.

So that means avoiding all other Indian people, too? In my experience, it's rare to find non-white people who surround themselves entirely with white people. That's where I'm getting a weird vibe from, but I guess to each their own. If that's Mindy's happy place, go for it.

But wouldn't it be cool to see some of those Indian comedic actors? I'm not a big fan of the SNL excuse for lack of diversity.

I'm a Low End Theory girl through-and-through and, though I listened to this one on repeat, like Questlove said, nothing could ever satisfy me after what they did with their first albums. And Consequence's presence always confused me.

I'm so damn jealous they're only doing those two shows. Toronto is so close! Come on!!
