You made a funny!
You made a funny!
I believe he wets the paper towel before rubbing his boot. Maybe that reddened it up?
The inner monologue of one James Franco.
More impressive is doing it WHILE walking in the park. I think you just described Franco's next show.
Franco?
I picture "So You Think You Can Franco?" as similar to the audition rounds of American Idol, where everyone tries to demonstrate their ability to Franco and fails miserably. Nobody can Franco. That's why Franco is Franco.
Jesse might also be feeling more guilt about Mike. If he believes Walt killed Mike, then he might be kicking himself for not being the one to deliver Mike's go-bag.
I'll take a shower but something tells me that ain't the source.
Actually, can you take it with you? It smells bad.
Well, the IRS believed that Beneke wasn't reporting his income. They believe he has the money all along, which is why they're demanding to be paid. I don't think it's a stretch for Ted to show up with the money at all. Your point about the cousins stand, but those tropes have appeared in countless other TV shows and…
Wendy was hooking to take care of her kid. She states it in that same episode. I'd say that's certainly a reason and maybe not sympathetic behavior per se, but she's doing it for sympathetic purposes. The fact that her day was portrayed in an amusing montage doesn't cheapen that to me. It makes her more memorable.
How does Brock "appear" to be a girl? Was he wearing a wig that I somehow missed? Pay attention. It's OK to criticize a show but if you can't be bothered to notice details like gender (or the kid's name for that matter), then are you really watching it? No wonder your friend was frustrated.
That would be a great reason to do a rewatch too, as if we really needed a reason. Get on this TV Club!!!
Have a dictionary handy, McCarthy's got a hell of a vocabulary. I like to think I have a decent one and he still dazzles me sometimes with his choice of words.
Blood Meridian was my first McCarthy and it sticks with me, the sheer violence and overall feeling of doom and menace that book exuded. Fucking awesome. It's like a rite of passage. That book will definitely put some hair on your chest.
I see what you did there.
So it looks like Magic City has…..
How the hell do you remember that?
One of the last times Walt truly cared about Jesse in my mind was that moment and one could argue it was the impetus for everything that happened afterward. Ever since that moment, Walt feared Gus wanted him dead. It certainly ended their harmonious relationship.
No, in the book Villefort is driven mad by the poisonings of the majority of his family and it's during this that the Count fears he may have gone too far with his revenge (though he's not the one who actually poisoned them, it's clear he knew about them and sort of allowed them to happen).
