I think the problem with S5 primarily had to do with the pacing. They had to set up a self contained arc in 8 episodes which doesn't really suit a show that's used to taking its time and doing the slow burn, which is how I prefer my BrBa. I still enjoyed the season and ultimately don't think it should be truly judged

This sounds like a new version of Reposted A7x fan comments.

That NINJA tour was great, I missed the first couple songs of NIN's set, thinking JA would be the opener and I wasn't as into them as I was NIN. Boy, did they kick my ass though. That's when I really saw how great and influential Jane's Addiction actually was. Mesmerizing. Avery in particular was fantastic.

Are we part of the same book club? I'm also reading Infinite Jest and Suttree, having just come off of reading The Count of Monte Cristo (which was great, part of my "read the classics" project I'm trying to undertake).

Hitch makes a cameo as the left testicle.

This is a comment thread for the ages.

Do they just declare a local flash flood warning whenever this guy rubs one out or what?

Which 3?

I'll take Dust over Nevermind every single day of the week and twice on Sunday. And this is coming from a Nirvana fan. The Screaming Trees were great.

I am the one who knocks. Politely.

It's a fact.

I did get laid a lot more than I would have sitting at home looking up stuff on Wikipedia. So there's that.

The most notable example I can think of in the last 20 years to do that was "Seven" and I believe Fincher fought against it. I personally like it, I think it's a nice cap to the relentless darkness of that movie. But I can see arguments against it too.

I had a really intense nightmare where Walt Jr gets killed in an automobile accident because he uses both feet on the pedals like he used to. It was pretty horrific because I was watching it all happen from the back seat. He caught fire and screamed until he died.

How you could possibly wait another 8 weeks while the world would be presumably falling down around all these characters' heads is a feat of willpower and restraint I could not possibly hope to equal. Nor would I want to even try. I'm watching live.

Kiss my heirs!

Is Sean Pegg related to Simon? What a talented family!

By charisma, I think you mean mustache.

Their albums usually have awesome 1-2 opening punches. Group Sounds has my second favorite behind Scream Dracula Scream. "Straight American Slave" and "Carne Voodoo" kick my ass each time. I defy you to listen to those and still not like this band.

Oh not at all. But these guys had such great hooks that it surprises me radio didn't do more for them. They don't have long songs, it just seems like a no-brainer to me. Such a fun band to listen to.
