Just watched it, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Thought it was much better than what critics were saying prior to airing. It's still rough around the edges and the plot is still vague and unformed but I liked it enough to hop along for the ride. Justin Lin doesn't have Cary Fukunaga's eye for composition, but there

I'm sure somebody here has to have read the Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix, right? I think that's a YA gem still waiting to be mined, and given the right director and actors, could make for a great series of films. They really had a compelling universe and some cool magic systems. hey got pretty epic and blockbustery

All of Kenneth Oppel's stuff has a cinematic feel to it. The Airborn series definitely fits the bill, as does the Silverwing series, which I think would have made for a great series of animated films. Loved those books when I was in middle school

*drops mic, walks away*

Yes! Man, I loved those two albums. So melancholy and atmospheric, yet rocked hard as fuck when they wanted to. I listened to them non stop back in high school and they still hold up.

Hey Stanley, check out Deadwood, I think it'd be right up your alley!

I don't know, he still looks pretty natural to me. I've been working out for a long time so I like to think I have a good eye for this stuff. He looks more massive than he actually is due to his obscenely low body fat

I wonder how Colin Trevorrow feels right now. Homeboy went from an obscure, niche indie flick to what's going to be one of the highest grossing movies of all time. Talk about a career boost. Hopefully he doesn't let the money get to him and only churn out generic blockbusters (I did enjoy Jurassic World though)

So this movie is on track for a massive fucking box office it seems. What a goddamn career trajectory for Colin Trevorrow…dude went from directing a low-budget, nonexistent grossing indie to what's going to be probably one of the highest grossing movies ever.

As a Toronto resident, I've actually walked by the filming locations many times while they were having a shoot. I was actually right outside this grocery store when they were filming this scene in the second episode of the first season: http://torontoist.com/wp-co…

MONDAY NIGHT JAMMMZ

I don't know about that. I love Radiohead, they're one of my favourite bands, but I've always found Yorke's whole anti-establishment schtick tiresome as well

I wish someone would have filmed the chase, still would have been a better action movie than the prequels

Other than The Beatles, the only pieces of music I can think of that I didn't find on Spotify was Gojira's From Mars to Sirius and Tool's discography. It's been incredibly accommodating otherwise. There were times when I typed in an artist' name fully expecting them to not even be in the database, only to be

Just this one promo had more forward momentum than the last 4 seasons of The Walking Dead

Looking forward to True Detective, despite the middling reviews so far as well as the fact that it most likely won't live up to the amazing first season.

I wish I could upvote this multiple times

All jokes aside, as a happy user of Spotify Premium, is there any incentive for me to actually migrate over to Apple Music? Apparently it will offer about 7 million more songs than Spotify would, but other than rare instances - like The Beatles, whose music I already have physical copies of and have listened to death

So I guess this show gets better as it goes on? The first episode really put me off. I found it clunky, cheesy and dull. Might give it another chance because this is the kind of whacked-out sci fi that I love.

Sold!
