Yeah, but we all know the Bengals D were hardly the problem in that game.

Awesome, thanks for the info!
Yeah, the first three Gun Club albums are the ones I've been into. I'd love any recommendation on where to go from there, whether it be studio or live album.
It sounded less interesting of the remaining two, so I'll be reading Outer Dark first.
Good to know. I need to get back to it and finish it before then.
You're right. I usually just buy older games on sale these days, so that must be why I assumed it was 2012.
I finished Cities of the Plain at the beginning of this year and just read Suttree last month. That leaves only his The Orchard Keeper and Outer Dark as the two I have left to read (not counting anything adapted, like The Sunset Limited).
Eh, no shame there. I also watched a bunch of movies I should have seen long ago (Vertigo, Maltese Falcon, Ghostbusters, etc.), and still have a lot more I need to watch in 2014.
Music: The Gun Club, Damien Jurado, and Angels of Light.
It's the yelling, but there's more than that. There's also the poverty and the crazy DIY fix-it jobs Nick does around the apartment that are very Charlie-esque.
"As you might recall, the movie based on the title of Max Brooks’ popular novel…"
I've always thought Nick seemed like a slightly less ridiculous, more realistic version of Charlie from Sunny.
Not even close.
Off the top of my head:
Yeah it's really hard to choose. "I Appear Missing", "If I Had a Tail", "The Vampyre of Time and Memory". It goes on and on.
Yeah that's the highlight from the album for me too.
I had no idea they'd put out an EP last year. Both are great; check them out!
Yep, I don't get it either. Took a little time for me to get all the depth and layers to it, but it is amazing.
Agreed. This was a strong AOTY candidate.
