Man, late 90s RTS game were amazing.  I spent so much time growing up playing the Command & Conquer/Red Alert games, Starcraft and Brood Wars, Age of Empires, Total Annihilation, and more.  I was never good at multiplayer, though.

Yep, that's one I'm avoiding as well.  Tried holding out on Gangnam Style for as long as I could.  I just don't care about this flash in the pan, YouTube video sensation-of-the-week crap.

I've been wanting to read Foote's books ever since I saw him in Ken Burns' "The Civil War" documentary.  He was one of the best parts.

The show is up and down at this point.  It still has it's moments from time to time, but often it gets repetitive.
