Finally watched Laputa: Castle in the Sky, which means I've now seen every movie Miyazaki has directed. Really liked the story (and the whole WWI-ish era steam punk vibe it had going). Not sure where I would rank it amongst the others though.

Like, you said, southeastern Ohio is basically west-West Virginia. That's Appalachian, not Southern.
