I can understand that to a degree, but NBC's solution to this was to banish the matches to some obscure cable affiliate like MSNBCSSCSN or whatever it was.  I know they are out to make money, but as a spectator and fan and customer, that's not my primary concern (and really this brings us back to that FOC article from

Canadians definitely have reason to gripe about some questionable calls and non-calls, but all this "the ref decided who was going to win before the game began" crap needs to stuff.  US teams have been jobbed by terrible officiating plenty of times over the years too (I'm looking at you, USA vs Slovenia in WC 2010).

See, I had the opposite experience.  Some friends told me how hilarious MacGruber was, so I went in expecting at least a bad-funny movie.  Instead it was mostly bad and not funny.

Since it's kind of in the same vein, can anyone tell me if The Tudors is worth watching?

Nocturama has some really good tracks on it.  Sure, if you were going to rank Bad Seeds albums it would be far down on the list, but that doesn't make it a bad album on its own.

I thought it looked dumb going in and I still thought it was dumb after I saw it.  Granted, I saw it at a friend's apartment when someone turned it on while the rest of us were playing poker, so I didn't watch it intentionally or get all that invested in it.

Also currently watching S12, and honestly as a whole it's been much better than I remembered.  I'd say the number of overall great episodes isn't very high, but nearly every episode has at least one or two moments that are just hilarious.

Me too.  It's not great, and the show has come a long way since, but calling it "horrible" is just silly.

The lack of attention given to the women's soccer team by NBC was extremely disappointing all during the Olympics.  So many great stories and great games that were barely mentioned.

What's a good book on Monty Python?  I'm looking for a biography/history of the show and the members themselves.

Oh man, just you bringing it up caused me to go on Youtube in order to rewatch it.  Such a great eulogy.
