I took a break from Tropic of Cancer to get started on The Sparrow, which I am about halfway through now and really enjoying.

Yeah, I'm thinking of stopping soon.  I was planning on watching Season 13, if only because it has the medical marijuana episode.  I seem to remember that one being funny.

UFC/MMA.  My friends and I were really into it at the end of high school and in college.  It wasn't the violence that ended up turning me off so much as I realized I could not stand Dana White or 90% of the fighters involved with the organization.  Too many showboating, bragging, ignorant idiots running their mouths…

This.  By The Way was the last straw for me, but Stadium Arcadium filled me with such loathing from the small portion I heard from it that I wanted to re-rage quit them all over again.  It's gotten to the point where I don't even understand why I liked the band in the first place.  Even the old stuff sounds lousy now.

I haven't read to many of his more recent books (always liked the Jurassic Park books, Andromeda Strain, and others) but wow, that pirate book he wrote was just awful.  Only made it all the way through by skimming large sections.

I watched the first season on Netflix in one sitting, and just shrugged the show off after that.  I didn't hate it, but after going through a whole season without really laughing I decided the whole thing was pointless.
