I finished reading Catch-22, which of course was fantastic.  Clever, dark, hilarious, depressing, outrageous.  It instantly is among my favorite books.  Now I am back to reading Tropic of Cancer.

That's why I don't agree with the recap that the generals pushing pigs across the board bit falls flat.  I always love those tiny, almost throw-away references scattered throughout an episode that link all the skits together.
