I liked the bit in the prologue where Anna Faris was all weepy while waitressing…good for a decent extended chuckle. But then the opening credits happened, and it was downhill from there. Bah I say.

Honestly I've never understood the AVClub obsession with Anna Faris. They appreciate the hell out of her comic chops, but they don't seem to think that the roles she chooses are part of the equation.
