Anybody hear about lineup changes? Two of the guys in that photo I don't recognize. I assume the bass player was replaced. I'm curious about that. In most of the recent(ish) footage I've seen of them he wasn't looking so good.

This should not happen. I have three words for NBC: Paul F. Tompkins. I also like the idea of Maya Rudolf if it simply MUST be someone SNL related.

Truly Zaltzman-caliber.

Truly Zaltzman-caliber.

This is getting stupid. These kids are privileged, but where do you draw the line? Will any show where a twenty-something accepts money from their parents be automatically worthy of scorn? That's pretty fucking common. I'm middle class at best and my parents payed my (admittedly low) rent all through college. And if I

This fucking guy.

Bryan Ferry's Hard Rain's Gonna Fall.  Not legitimately my favorite but amazing in oh so many ways.  And the video is pure gold!

In Pittsburgh, where I'm from, we had this psycho.

Absolutely, on both counts. I'm amazed at the lack of acknowledgement that Patton's stand-up has gone pretty downhill in the past few years. It could be a symptom of his growing success.  Maybe he hasn't been doing as many show and so isn't able to really refine the material the way he once was. But if we're all being

kinda surprised at Carell and Stiller being not sexy.

Disagree.  All those ladies are sexy.  Could be that I find them more attractive because of how funny they are, but I don't think so.

Yes, Marsalis truly is a shithead.  You can tell how disingenuous he's being in the sections about Miles, as if he's straining to figure out something complimentary to say.  It's not like Burns needed to use him for those segments. There are plenty of people who will (quite rightly) fall over themselves to praise

A public school in suburban Pittsburgh.  I'm not saying I took calculus, but I could have. On the other hand I didn't have the option to get more in-depth or specific in English or History.

Wrong.

Pretty hypocritical of Axl, considering that was one of the worst vocal performances by anyone, ever.

I think the point is that the average high school student is required to go more in-depth into math and science as opposed to the social sciences. A large percentage of public school students are taking fucking calculus, while those same students are taught a very basic, shallow, top-down (as Burns put it) version of
