Typing of the Dead II!

I mean, Dark Savior was the spiritual sequel to Landstalker on the Saturn. It was sort of a depressing game, but it was good.

I support both Phantasy Star V and Skies of Arcadia 2 wholeheartedly.

I'd even settle for a full compilation of Shining Force III parts 1-3. I wouldn't mind going through part 1 again and I'm sure fans translated the other two parts and made them available as ROMs at some point, but I never bothered to track them down.

Man, do I like Norm MacDonald. I thought his Sports Show was great.

I was gonna say Parker Millsap was the point where I checked out, but then I remembered I actually reviewed Striking Matches' album (for another website) so I guess that counts.

Because they play ACL every single year, usually in an opening slot on the first day.

They could throw in Northstar as a distraction to keep Quicksilver busy. Actually, that would make for a nice change in the requisite super-speed scene to have two speedsters going at it while everything else moves in super slo-mo.

Yeah, Kinberg seems much closer to a Scott Lobdell analogue than Chris Claremont. A guy who can be a really good writer in certain situations but mostly is just okay and occasionally completely ruins things, either from his own bad ideas or by editorial fiat.

Well, if the strike happens it's gonna start on May 2. To make this announced April release date filming is going to have to start soon because they need at least 4-6 months to do the CGI effects. It's possible they could start as late as July, but June is more likely and if a strike drags on, they're gonna have to

I suppose this is what you get when you don't have a couple of guys whose jobs are essentially keeping the overarching film continuity in order. Which, to be fair, is probably a harder job with Fox's mess of an X-Universe than Marvel's meticulously planned MCU.

I really liked most of the younger cast in Apocalypse, but yeah, this sounds a lot like going from Man of Steel straight into Batman vs. Superman to me. Also, based on the Apocalypse tag, how does Mr. Sinister figure into a Dark Phoenix movie? Awkwardly, I'm assuming. Seems like Sinister would've been the perfect

Has anything about New Mutants been announced besides this date, the director, and Maisie Williams as Rahne? I hope they at least have a script and also that that script doesn't get disrupted during filming by the looming writers' strike.

Yeah, the "floating down the coast" first half was not very good, but the "wandering north through Mexico" second half was quite solid. The show's biggest problem continues to be the fact that the entire cast was unlikable at the start (except for Strand when he finally showed up) and they've been stuck trying to make

Ah, the Jim Rome strategy. Totally ruined Jim Everett's career.

Way to torpedo your career, asshole.

Kirkman's looming presence as an Executive Producer really seems like an anchor on the show at times. But then they come up with "original" stuff like The Wolves and the Junkions and the evil hospital I'm no longer convinced that Kirkman is the problem. Like, Fear the Walking Dead can do whatever it wants and

Yeah, they need to get back to that because it's more interesting than the current OMG Even More Zombies plus The Saviors still suck story arc.

Middle of the season. All Out War lasted 10 issues in the comics so that is a pretty natural spot to conclude the arc on the show.

The new New Pornographers album follows very much in the style of Brill Bruisers, but with even more synths. I do miss Bejar breaking it up with his idiosyncrasies, but after listening to this album a bunch of times (I'm doing the review for another site) I've gotten used to it. The new drummer is also a little more
