Considering how aggravating the various YouTube personalities they've had on the show have been over the past 5-6 years, this sounds like a shit show waiting to happen.

Nah, this season has at least been an improvement over the Blind Date season. I'm not a French speaker, but that bit was pretty embarrassing. Still, despite the lack of personality beyond Justin and the Texans, it's been a pretty entertaining year.
You successfully got me to read that in Louis Black's voice, so if that was your intention, well done!
I assumed they were doing that in lieu of having non-elimination legs, which is something I am fully in favor of.
That they also read those graphic novels and comic books because they are tween-friendly and worth their time to read.
I went to see it at the dollar theater on Thanksgiving night. Had a blast just laughing and laughing.
1. Birdemic (even though I got the dvd and commentary version)
2. Crater Lake Monster
3. The Guy From Harlem
Off the top of my head, Amulet. Also, Ms. Marvel, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Cleopatra in Space, and Zita the Space Girl.
Amulet is really good. Would recommend to parents of tweens.
AKA Low Winter Sun.
I gave up halfway through Freak Show, but I would check back in to the show if they did Antarctic Science Base.
Bye Daryl.
Oh, man. Nausicaa is so great. It's weird that…shit, I was gonna say it was weird that Viz never republished a deluxe edition of the book in its original right-to-left orientation like Dark Horse did with Akira, and that's part of what keeps it under the radar.
I'm all in on a new cast. Not making old school fans choose between Joel and Trace and Mike and Bill or Rifftrax vs. Cinematic Titanic is probably a wise decision. Either you unite everybody behind a new on-camera crew or, if you're a pessimist, make everybody hate the new guys together.
Considering Rifftrax has just started adding select MST3k episodes as downloadable on their site, I'd say there's a good chance they're in on this.
Well, considering Rifftrax's bread and butter over the past 2-3 years has been moving away from commentary-only blockbuster riffing and back into fully downloadable bad movies, I'd say that market is eternally being refreshed.
"Crates and crates of bigfoots!"
I've been following some form of the X-Men books since I started collecting Excalibur back in 1988 as a 12-year old. But I have to say, I haven't missed them much over the summer and fall while I was completely ignoring Secret Wars. I'm sure I'll at least give the new books a couple of chances to get me into them…
If not Trek, then Starship Troopers, of all things, had that sequence where the Space Marines come upon the remains of a colony of quasi-Amish settlers that were easily destroyed by bugs thanks to their foolish code of non-violence.
I mean, MST3k essentially just carried on after a short hiatus in the form of The Film Crew/Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic, so I don't really feel like it was gone.
