John Darnielle of The Mountain Goats is at least agnostic, if not atheist, but he's a huge Amy Grant fan as well.

My baseline is the Apostle's Creed, in some form. If they affirm that, what can I say?

I'm a community-oriented, moderate Protestant who doesn't really identify with any denomination and who's always been enamored with aspects of the Catholic church. And I really enjoyed this response.

"These musical numbers alternate with slick documentary segments, the first taking us back to Sydney, Australia, home of the Hillsong chain of Pentecostal megachurches from whence the brand came."

Christian Rachel Bloom in the header up there.

Is this another Sally record? I've been seeing Facebook updates.

I wanted to say this but was afraid. THANK YOU HERO.

A Might Wind is my favorite, followed by Best in Show, followed by Spinal Tap. I can't explain why. I love all his movies except For Your Consideration and can't imagine this not being at least a big step up from that.

Well, Florida shares very little, if any, culture with the South, as someone who's lived both there and SC, unless you're saying it shares racism, in which case, I can't wait to tell Pittsburgh they're the South too. I can't speak for Texas but it sounds like you want to make the facts fit your premise instead of vice

If you include Texas and Florida in the phrase The South, it loses all meaning. If you've actually lived in the South and don't see that they're completely different, cultures, I don't know what to tell you.

It might be a southern state geographically but Florida has no similarities to South Carolina, where I now live (didn't grow up here). You know being part of "The South" is more than just being located southward, right? I don't know about Texas but they seem to have their own culture that isn't really shared anywhere

And presumably casting someone besides Andie MacDowell.

I have to admit, I've only read the first three. I think that's Many Waters, the fifth? I guess I should check it out—that sounds pretty interesting.

The later books aren't all that overt either, but the first does reference some specifically Christian theology.

It's been a while but for some reason I actually thought they WERE biracial. But I can accept that I'm wrong.

After the first one, I think they may just put the characters in some Hunger Games-like scenario.

Everyone agrees that Titus Andronicus is the best Shakespeare play sand totally indicative of his body of work.

I would happily let ads through on sites if the sites knew when to stop. In all browsers, Slate and AVC are pretty much unusable if I whitelist them. So I don't.

Just switched. Thanks!

I laughed through that entire random roles, and it made me think really highly of Will. He really carried on.
