He's on one episode of Bewitched, too, and old friend of Darrin. It's the only pre- Batman thing I've ever seen him in.

Not that they were a legendary live band or anything, but I'd kill to see the full original line-up of my favorite band The Beach Boys.
Tony Stark did it in Civil War last year and everyone was fine with it.
It is vital to remember that it's not "so bad it's good." It's actually trying to be so silly and ridiculous, and it succeeds 100%.
Well, really, Jim Carrey is playing Frank Gorshin.
Returns is my faborite Batman movie. To each their own, I guess.
Always liked the casting of Adam Brody as Flash too.
I think that theme is great, but but the best thing about it is that it's actually memorable. Too many superhero movies, and blockbuster movies in general, have boring and forgettable theme music these days.
The thing with Twilight Zone is that it has those dozen or so super famous episodes that everyone knows, but there are like 120 other stories. I try to catch some of the New Years marathon every year, and i still stumble upon one or two I've never seen before.

Isn't that, like, exactly how Last Crusade ends?
I'd call the "modern superhero era" somewhere between X-Men in 2000 and Batman Begins in 2005, probably. At the very latest, Iron Man and Dark Knight in 2008.
Can we have just ONE conversation about feminism where a man is in charge?!
Not really a "damsel," but you could make an argument for Star-Lord almost dying to save Gamora in the first Guardians, or Ant-Man's daughter being held hostage.
Did this attitude exist 30 years ago? Were there white dudes who were up in arms about Billy Dee Williams playing Harvey Dent in Batman?
I once dressed in full-on drag to get ladies night prices at a bar. The staff and patrons were impressed enough with my level of commitment (wig, makeup, heels, shaved legs) that no one gave me a hard time. It got me cheap drinks for the evening and was also the birth of my love-affair with drag.
Come on. There's a million fine looking women in the world, but not all of them bring you lasagna at work. Most of them just cheat on you.
On one of the Clerks commentaries, Anderson mentions that she auditioned for the female lead in some Jerry Bruckheimer movie, and made it pretty far in the process, but basically dropped out of acting when she didn't get it. He didn't mention what movie it was.
