The scariest moment of Shining for me is when he's creeping on Wendy, when she has the bat. It's just how genuinely terrified she looks and sounds. She can barely move, and she's a complete wreck.

Yeah, me too. I'm a naturally jumpy person and those bits kept me jumping at shadows for a few days.
A lot of people give Blair Witch a hard time, or at least they used to, but I remember seeing in a packed theater on opening weekend. You could hear a pin drop after she drops that camera for a good thirty seconds.
As a kid, Judge Doom's transformation sequence in Roger Rabbit. Even now, I find it very unsettling even though its one of my all-time favorite movies. The way he moves around after he's flattened, the high pitched squeal and just how fucking invincible he becomes. I remember watching the movie on an endless loop as a…
Peanuts Super Nerd, here! They weren't Snoopy's cousins, they were his siblings. Spike, Andy and Olaf were the most reoccurring, but there was also Marbles and Belle, his only sister.

Implied, Lisa, or implode?
Planet of the Apes was terrible, but the ending is actually much closer to the end of the original book than the first movie's. If you still think its stupid, then fine, but I think Burton gets way too much crap for it.
Twisted Tales was great. I always thought people weren't ready for that strange a cartoon on once a week, and now we have Adventure Time. I'm not saying Twisted Tales influenced Adventure Time, but it's clear that times have changed. And I watched the hell out of that movie as a kid, to the point that I once named a…
I love those old Felix cartoons. They've got such odd pacing.
I grew up thinking COPS was specialized to your local area. It wasn't until I moved to California that I learned that, no, Central Florida is just the go-to destination for fuck-ups.
I actually don't think 30 Rock started all that strong. The early episodes aren't bad or anything, they're just noticeably weak when compared to the show's heyday. I bailed after the first couple episodes and didn't pick it up again until it won a zillion Emmys. Arrested Development never had that problem.
They did a sabermetrics joke in one of the episodes Chris Pratt WASN'T in? Seems sloppy to me.
You're a girl, or maybe a wagon filled up with pancakes…
It's worth noting that Dangeresque predates Lazer Cats by a few years, and they were essentially the same premise.
Oh man. I was in high school when Homestar really exploded, I had a shirt, a hoodie, the CD, the works. This cartoon was the shit, and I still check out the site every couple of months hoping for some kind of update.
I didn't see Lone Ranger, but you echoed my feelings on John Carter, essentially. It was a fun movie, and was as good as plenty of movies that made quadruple its box office that year.
Bruce Willis' nametag said "Harry Stamper."
Given the turnaround time for Simpsons episodes, they probably started writing this one back when Homeland's first season was fresh off of all those big Emmy wins. Maybe they assumed people would start checking it out and it would be a bigger hit than it is?
Also, if Ted did something stupid in regards to Robin that caused a huge scene, the Mother presumably would have seen it and, having met everyone else in the group, felt bad for Robin. She and Ted may not get along so well at the train station.
