I don't find Skyler awful at all. I liked her as a moral center to the show and it's going to make her slow decline into Walt's circle again that much sadder. I think that incredible bit of lying to the locksmith was just the beginning.

I really wasn't sure what they were going to do. I don't think they would kill Jesse, but it's not inconceivable. That was one ballsy scene.

Seriously. JJ in that otherwise good X-men movie was some real Keanu Reeves shit. She is just not good. I actually don't dislike her in Mad Men, because her lack of skill fits Betty's emptiness, but everything else I have seen her in? wow.

I guess he has kept up with changes in the language over the decades, but would the Vikings have even had a word for crocodile?

That drives me nuts on this show also ….

Also, I am actually starting to really like Sonny.

Shit got real
Wow …. that was as shocked as I have ever been watching TV. Let alone a show as sedate as this has been.

I still miss that Elegant Victorian Lady …..

If there is one place on the Internet where I thought sarcasm would be understood ….

Never done?

Don't know if it helps but Jamie's capture and that whole battle was "offscreen" in the books as well. We heard aout it in an even more indirect way.

I photograph a lot of musicians and spend a lot of time around them (just a hack guitar/mandolin player myself) and all the scenes ring really true to me. Outstanding work.

Varys stated is a small council meeting that the information that Dany was pregnant came from Jorah Mormont, leading Ned to call him a traitor and Littlefinger to pint out that he was merely a slaver.

Don't think this is a SPOILER as I think it has all been mentioned, but not sure.

Has Dany called him "My Sun and Stars yet?" We see that he loves her, but I am not sure that her love for him is well-established yet. Hopefully, we get one scene in order to understand how upset she will be at what's coming.

I think it is important that Renly appear to be the best choice. That is the whole point of the fucking conflict. Renly is clearly more popular and would probably be a better king than Stannis (at least in the Summer - unfortunately, winter is coming and all that) but Stannis is next and that is that. Agree with everything. This episode had a bit too much clumsy exposition, but we all knew that would be a problem occasionally in a story this complex. As I said above, I think they meant the prostitutes to illustrate how detail orientated Littlefinger was and to show that his motivations are not that of an ordinary

I don't remember that we saw Tywin actually butchering a deer in the book, but it was a wonderful addition. It set up perfectly how capable he is, how he always does what needs doing himself . I am so looking forward to his scenes with Tyrion!
