That's what I loved about the Rapture episode of American Dad (one of the best 30 minutes of animation ever): the SPOILER implication that the rest of the series is actually taking place in Heaven after the Rapture occurred.

I agree. Real sentiment well executed, lots of great jokes and lots of little things that I am sure I will only notice in replay (I am looking forward to going through the time travel sequences in slow motion; it seemed like there were a lot of other eps (Beast with a billion backs being the only one I recall) in…
More please
I know it's a pop culture site and we only got this because Nimoy starred in some silly show people round here seem to have a slight fondness for, but I, for one, would love to see an occasional interview with a photographer or artist.

I thought that the wrap-up (if it is the wrap) of Eric and the other manager was fairly realistically handled and a real bright spot in what has been an abysmal season or three. I afraid it is all a ploy and they are going to go back into the hackneyed rivalry thing again. I would love to see them become actual…
I'm Sorry AV Club
but, really, if this is the best you can do, it might just be time to put the list format to rest. You had a nice run, got a good book out of it ….
@ Doc Brown. I just looked at the Wiki page and maybe your DeVry mind can explain something to me. The page says that this type of cancer has a five year survival rate of less than 5%. It then gives the various places that the cancer can be located with 5YSR of 80, 50, 20 7, and 3. If all of the individual cancer…
Sorta asking for it, dude? So your little God is so fucking petty that, after doing everything possible to make his existence look improbable (after all he could presumably remove all doubt at any time), he is now going to single out one loud mouth atheist for cancer ? Out of all the truly evil people in this world?…
Whoever said that has never been is a foxhole. I have and we were all atheists.
"Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV …. and you think you're so clever and classless and free …. but, you're still fucking peasants as far as I see"
Seriously, I don't usually let bad movies bother me. Hell, I managed to ignore Sex and the City 2. But, there is something about the preview and just the sheer, cynical, lowest-common-denominator, awfulness of it that it actually offends me personally.
That's what was so brilliant about "Funny People". The crap movies he was making fun of and the self-loathing for it were no worse than what he was actually in. The self-loathing in that movie was palpable.
I usually don't get worked up about this stuff but I had the misfortune to see that fucking preview here in TN about ten times. And every time, he hit the tree, everyone laughed. Loudly. Then, he fell and they laughed louder. Then he fell again and it was even louder. Then, the pool scene and the place exploded. EVERY…
Welcome back best gimmick poster ever.

Lawmen put an end to their rhyming ….
Prine is a lot better on album, Keen is a lot better in concert, from the two I've seen. However, I wouldn't think to associate them together. As much as I like REK, I don't think he is Prine's class as a lyricist (few are).
Oh yeah, I just heard the Red Kross version of "Yesterday Once More" this morning … what a great cover.
Seriously, seriously, seriously get to Youtube and check out Bonerama. Alas, a lot of the sound is crap as they are loud as hell in concert.
Well Nelly, I said that it was good "For me". For me, those three things are enough to make it more than interesting. You are free to dislike it. It puzzles me, but that's what makes the world go round.
I think they showed a flashback of Sonny in the storm before. And, i am sure that he met a guy whom he had rescued and the guy bought him some beer.
I agree that it is a very different kind of show and it's not for everybody. I don't agree that it is not "good". You admit that it has great actors, writing, cinematography and music. For me, that adds up to good. Yeah, not a lot happens and the story, in a traditional sense, is boring. For me again, the show is a…
