I saw most of those on planes also. I liked Waitress actually. the rest … whew.

That love scene in whichever of the Star Wars movies it was in (I've blocked them from my memory as much as possible) where he and natalie are standing on a porch at sunset discussing their epic love made me want to tear my ears off.

Cocktail, iron eagle, Troll 2, Plan 9, Red Dawn … all great choices.

Every time I see a trailer for Avatar, all I can think is "Is this the preliminary CGI? Is this really the finished product? Should I be watching this on my PS3?"

yeah, Donnie Darko would have been number one on my list. It's not a good movie by any objective sense but i enjoyed the hell out of it.

I'd give it time. There was some promise here. It was repetitive but I remain …. cautiously optimistic.

Well, it was poor but it was tolerable. Now, i only go to the park through the Townshend entrance.

No love for Charlie Wilson's War? Shitty politics but Hoffman was absolutely perfect in it.

considering where they are from, I would hope that Wahlburg and Damon could nail the accent.

Ferrel is usually funny; it is just that his movies tend to have the same structural problem. Ferrel's movies (and Sandler's for that matter) tend to have an outrageous setup (think 40-year olds living in parent's basement or 30 year old goes back to grade school) and be funny as hell for an hour. Then, they spend the

Good list all in all. If I had to pick between Joker and Brokeback, I'd go for Joker also, but it's close.

Well said teadoust. Well said indeed.

Dollywood
When I first heard of that place (I lived in Europe at the time), I thought it was an SNL sketch (although I shouldn't have since it was actually funny). Now I live in Knoxville and dDlly is bigger than Obama and Mormon Vampires put together here. I love her, but i can't forgive her for turning Gatlinburg
