I recommend Princess Monster Wife because you don't have to know much about the series to enjoy it and much of the sensibility of the show comes through (it was my first ep).

Right on Werewolf.  They could have just left him a cute deliverer of one-liners or tension diffuser, but they went a lot further and the scenes in which he tries to be more are really poignant and sad.
