I haven't read the top 50 yet either, and I can't believe there are 50 better 90s movies than Office Space, Iron Giant, The Piano, Bad Lieutenant, Face Off, The Remains of the Day, and The Player. A few could make a list of 50 best in the entire history of film.

I had the same experience a few months ago when AVC started reviewing it.  And the reviews helped me explain to my sons all the weird nuances to look for.

Yeah the ship was a far more realistic depiction of a working space vessel in the future.  The funny dated tech in Alien was the green Wang computer screens (look it up, young people).
