@George_Liquor:disqus Shout! Factory bought the Gamera rights. Sandy Frank never let them put them on DVD or streaming at all.

It's actually at times funnier to me now that it was when I watched them originally, because of all of the MN and WI jokes. I didn't get it when they would do the upper midwestern housewife voice and talk about MN/WI specific things. ("Ride the ducks"?) But my wife is from MN and I've been up there a bunch of times

I'm really annoyed with US Netflix with regards to MST3K. They had all the Gamera episodes, but only for like 2 weeks. I watched a couple and was in the middle of a third, went to bed, and in the morning they were all gone.

@avclub-39df51c015ce671b473b8cf5a306d217:disqus I have the "Amazing Colossal Episode Guide". It's at home so I can't get the exact details, but basically for each episode the writing staff watched the movies together something like 3 times, riffing and writing down time codes and jokes. Later they chose which jokes

Yeah, Glen Beck is a Mormon. Greta van Sustren is the Fox News Scientologist.

Heh. Entwistle and thrift. That's a larf. Most of the time that The Who toured after their peak was because he had blown all his cash on coke, clothes, etc. and Daltrey & Townshend felt sorry for him, so off they went. Also, he bought basses all the time just to have them. He had a room full of them in his house.

@google-64c3514fec54aa9246a631027d9c25fd:disqus Swedish umlauts and German umlauts have the same origin: a little e sitting on top of another vowel, gradually stylized into two dots, so yes, Swedish umlauts follow the same e-after rule. Danish and Norwegian don't have any umlauted vowels. Extra vowel-wise they have ø,

If you'd accept a series of books instead, S.M. Stirling's Emberverse books should do the trick. The first book is called "Dies the Fire". You're welcome.

I second your interpretation. They're showing that it happens a bunch of times between the first time (that we see at least) that Mulder catches on or believes Pam and when they get to the iteration that works.
