Marshall Jefferson shows up next week

I first heard of this guy when he was opening for The Pharcyde in the UK (in 2004 I think). Had no idea what to expect and was blown away. It's been great to see him grow more popular doing his thing since then. His talk at Google is still one of the best things I've ever seen.

Raul Julia helps

spolier alert: Seagal wins

a lot of those middling films from 1990 I still have a soft spot for: Ford Fairlane (though it's pretty awful now I imagine), The Rookie, anything with Seagal in it. Fun times.

or is it waiting for us?

because you touch yourself at night

what confused me was that this was supposed to be a year ago
so Noah McNulty's episode was from the future?

holy fucking shit, THAT was Brendan Fraser?!

Somebody needs to explain to your new President how to tie a tie for fuck's sake

It's his last good film

It's Patti Labelle I think, and they ripped off Goldfinger

Black Rain is kind of silly and it has that weird Hollywood approach to Japan you saw all through the 1980s which peaked with Rising Sun. But still worth a watch.

One of my favourites and a great write up, though surprised the Cuban Linx, err, link was not mentioned. Probably was how a lot of people got introduced to this film.

how anyone with half a brain could support Trump is beyond me

I imagine this post being read out loud in the voice of Fran Drescher
