I caught this at the cinema a while back, was not expecting much but it is actually pretty decent. McGregor does nothing for me, but Skarsgard manages to pull off the cornball Russian accent thing. Even Damien Lewis is good in it, maybe more in his natural element than whatever the hell it is he's trying to do on…

Assault on Precinct 13, Escape From New York, that Van Damme film where he's name is Chance Boudreaux and Lance Hendrikson goes around killing homeless people for sport (how I remember all this yet forget the name of the film is pretty telling), Mad Max, probably some others I'm forgetting too . . .

At the very least, this movie has given me something amusing to do with all the empty milk bottles I end up collecting

I'd pay to see a "will they/won't they?" romantic comedy set against the backdrop of The Purge

I watched the second one pretty recently and it was kinda dumb but had some moments. The whole time I was making a mental checklist of every other (better) film it was channeling.

I'd probably just download Game Of Thrones or something
