I think this comment may be satirical, but I'm not sure…

SNL had a sketch on that recently, I think in the Kevin Hart episode.

I saw Restrepo in theatres and really liked it, so I'm looking forward to this. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be on the HBO Canada schedule, which is strange since this is an HBO original documentary?

Was I the only one who thought that maybe Sylvia would walk out of the restaurant in anger/shame, and that the intercut scenes in bed would turn out just to be in Don's imagination?
Mad Men has gotten all trippy and formally complex and it seemed like just the sort of trick it would pull now.

Interesting, I think Night Soldiers is the only Furst novel I haven't read, so I should get on that. I would say Polish Officer and the World at Night are my favourites, though he's a fairly consistent writer.

Aha, you and/or your boss have been outed as hosers.

Whenever I've watched 22 Minutes lately it seems like it still brings the funny (surprisingly) though I rarely remember to watch it. Would you agree with that?
Also, Greg Thomey and his Newfie separatist Jerry Boyle were the best.

Edit: double post.

I'm surprised no one has raised the obvious question… did he have a pacemaker, and if so who had the codes? Come on, wake up sheeple!

I think they're on the internet because they aired in Britain.

Actually, I thought while watching it that the farm stuff would make a half-decent movie, an indie family dramedy I guess (they've already got the soundtrack nailed down!) but I agree it wouldn't work as a series.

Hi Mr. Herzog!

I've never understood why they've held onto that grudge, out of all of the ones they could have. But it does make the Battle of Ontario more interesting.

I'm pretty sure we got Ranger Rick up in Canada too, for some reason.

Man, you know climate change is getting bad when polar bears are eating pelicans.

Sorry, it's the other one.

Kate McKinnon was born to play that role. (I actually mean that as a compliment.)

Anyone watch the Real Madrid-Man United game that just ended? It had lots of exciting chances, which is good after a pretty lackluster few months for soccer.

I'd never realised Soderbergh had made so many movies until you started this project… and I see on Wikipedia that he only just turned 50.

It did seem like they used US Tim Hortons signage, which is different from Canadian Tim Hortons signage (I don't think I've ever been to one in the US, but in their US ads they call it Tim Hortons Coffee and Bake Shop and have different graphics) That's pretty nitpicky though…
