I guess you could make the argument that the beam from the mind gem has variable strengths/speeds so Vision (who is an A.I.) should have the skills to surgically take out Sam's rocket pack while anticipating his flight path and any other environmental factors.

Ok……that I can't argue. :)

Should have stuck with the typo thing :)

But remember he was on the verge of signing the accords till Tony told him about Wanda being under house arrest. So he was willing to compromise. And even Tony making it to the Hydra bunker was an act of compromise in itself.

So…….the writers haven't decided how powerful he is yet :D

To be fair, Cap doesn't really know anything about Zemo's personal history till they get to the Hydra base so the super-soldier army is the most logical assumption to make till that point.

"the bad guy from 12 years a slave…….."

When Steve & Natasha meet Zola in the bunker. He shows them a list of people they've taken out over the decades and it includes a newspaper article of the car crash. He never comes out and says it but Steve could easily deduce that it'd have been Bucky doing the killing.

Fair dues…..

I loveeeeeed how utterly random that pairing was :D

Nevermind the airport fight…..where the hell were Vision & War Machine at the Crossbones fight in Lagos??? Steve leaves his most powerful guys on the bench but Wanda gets in shit for trying to save a bunch of innocent lives?

Apparently there's a line Rhodey says to Vision about turning Falcon from a flyer to a glider…..I presume that blast was meant to take out Sam's rocket pack but keep his wings intact so he could land safely……

But that's what most of the Marvel movies have done and quite frankly, the nefarious evil doers have all been lame apart from Loki.

I'll say this for Bruhl, he never acts like he's the hero of the story. Busting up Steve & Tony is just something he has to do in order to balance the scales…..

I honest to god think that Zemo is one of the best villains they've had in a Marvel movie. There isn't enough of him in the film to be fair, but walking through all the crazy steps, murders and manipulations he takes just to discover that he's just another grieving victim like Miriam Sharpe is a damn good hook. Plus,

I think I'm just scared that since they've run the course with Bourne finding out who he is, there's a chance the plot will really lean into the politics at the expense of any human drama….

Don't get me wrong. I love the undercurrent of reality they've always had. That scene in "Supremacy" where he apologises to the girl for killing her parents is gold. I just worry that it could end up being another "Green Zone".

Dude, watching people freak out when they see Damon's face on a monitor screen is the best part of a Bourne flick…..I mean besides the fighting of course.

The Superbowl teaser had me really pumped but this……I dunno. It's just…..where is the plot going? And the fact that it's about hacking/referencing Snowden makes me worry that Greengrass & Damon might get on their soapbox again. And that's what ruined "Green Zone" for me.

Could that be the greatest moment in human history?
