It didn't do much for me, but I won't get in any fights over it. Due to a Blockbuster closing I picked up the DVD for $.20 so I'll watch it again eventually, maybe I'll change my mind.

It's probably not too controversial here, but I still don't think The Cabin in the Woods gets nearly the love it deserves. Definitely one of those genre films that benefits from a second viewing, to see how carefully it's all put together.

Unser's crush on Gemma has been telegraphed since season 1, she knows how to exploit it when she needs to.

They were laying on the Clay as Piney stuff so thick I jokingly asked if he was going to ask Opie if he could have Piney's trike. Then Clay drops his bike in the garage and Opie puts the trike up for sale. Damn, they are actually going to go there.

And where did Unser get that nice Craftsman house and huge elaborate bird cage made up to look like a jail cell? It seems like he's spent most of the series living in a shitty little old RV, scraping together the money for his medical marijuana.

Mark Twain is the classic American example of this. He gets tons of credit for his generous treatment of blacks in his novels, but man, he didn't think much of the Injuns. Some people are confused about that and try and gloss it over, but really, as you say, it makes no sense.

I think Melissa was wearing the same pink lipstick early on as well. It was just weird.

I can't imagine how it's possible that Elena and Dmitri haven't been sniping at each other in their native languages (Ukrainian and Belarusian). Were they instructed not to? Has it been edited out? Do they not actually know the languages, despite their accents? I'd think they'd at least know insults and swears.
Dmitri…

And I hate it and never quote it, the circle is complete.
