I thought the emotional beats between Ralph and Vanellope, while definitely manipulative, were extremely effective and moving. The rest of the film was pretty bad and not very funny for a comedy. And the shady-ass product placement made it pretty sickening to watch, IMO. And using that Rihanna song? UGH, the worst!
