I have the old VHS, still. Part of me still likes watching Dr. Who on VHS because it reminds me of catching episodes on PBS in the 80s, crummy reception and all.

Yep. Letts wanted some monsters, so we inexplicably get the Primords.
Ah, tut, tut… but Wookies came after this. So, Wookies actually resemble brown Primords.
The episode 6 cliffhanger is easily the best cliffhanger of Pertwee's run.
Totally agree. "Inferno" is my all time favorite Pertwee. It's a real shame we didn't get at least one more season like season 7. It's also such a terrible shame Liz Shaw didn't get a proper goodbye episode.
Sorry. I totally disagree with you, if you don't mind. "The Web Planet" is absolutely wonderful. A marvelous kind of modernist ballet with some of the greatest music of Hartnell's run. They went and shot for the moon, gave us something absolutely brilliant, and I've watched and re-watched it so many times I've…
"The Gunfighters" is absolutely sublime. Everyone hates it because Peter Haining said we should in "Doctor Who: A Celebration." But that was based on the fact that the four episodes received such poor ratings on its initial broadcast.
Oh yes. I'm so excited to see this! Probably even more excited to "Space/Time" than the 50th anniversary special!
Almost a kind of need-to-see-to-believe sort of thing.
I'd raise you the whole "bees disappearing" thing and a "spaceship that flies on love."
But then we wouldn't get that hilarious "Teshnician" [sic] joke.
Furthermore, he was a robot who could change into whatever he wanted to. So we could've had a new companion every story, instead of that rubbish robot.
Totally agree. "Enemy" is absolutely fabulous!
I still keep hoping for "Power of the Daleks"! :)

Then we can also argue about where Kamelion was when the TARDIS gets destroyed in "Frontios."
Yes. Poor Carol Ann Ford. Susan was such a strong character in "An Unearthly Child," but already by the second episode the writers start getting her wrong, turning her into this screaming child. You'd think that if she voluntarily escaped with the Doctor that she'd have the same sense of adventure. We get a taste…
2/3rds exists already, so why not complete it? But, I see your point. I'd much rather see a reconstruction of the two missing episodes of "The Crusades." Such an underrated gem!
In "The Sensorites" we got to see a Susan who helped save the day with her psychic abilities. In "Reign," she is… um… afraid of rats. Such a terrible waste of a character and Carol Ann Ford's talents.
I always change on this, but today, here's how I stand.
