Linda's always lived vicariously through the kids, and cheerleading did seem to be something she'd love to micromanage, but why was she coming up with bizarre physical stunts instead of bizarre, vaguely inappropriate rhymes? We've already established she's an expert chanter!

Better than having it end with a terrible flash-forward with Katniss in the throes of postpartum depression and trying (unsuccessfully) to convince herself staying with Peeta was better than dying

If you're the type of person who avoids Wet Hot American Summer, Role Models, and the Sam Raimi Spider-Mans I feel very bad for you indeed.

And she needs to keep using her Hunger Games money and cache to produce/direct stuff like Pitch Perfect, which in my opinion was one of the best things about 2012

Usually when I say "I'm not into music" what I mean is "I don't want to have a detailed conversation about your/my musical preferences."

He has about one minute of screentime total and the workplace scenes feel totally superfluous, so for a reasonably well-known actor I'd say he's pretty underused.

Weirdly that very lukewarm opinion (which I share) made this show one of my favorite pilots of the year.

Thank you! I got the opportunity to see this show a few months ago and I felt the same weird similarities to Community's pilot. Hopefully like that show this one snaps into focus around its central group and excises some of the fluff (like Community did with Jeff's academic cheating and friendship with Duncan). If

This episode took place over a full 7 months. Since the pilot, almost a year has passed. What the hell! If Sorkin's going to write revisionist history, he can't just do the Cliff Notes version!

Louie I saw you at the movie theater. Your glasses make you look like you're in disguise.
"A Separation" was fucking sad. I wish I could justify a 45 dollar show ticket.

Everyone hate-hates this show, but I have to say I hate-love it. Sorkin's talents are familiar and limited, but they are at their best here. He makes time go by quickly; this is a very long pilot but does not really feel like it. His bombastic moments are corny and ridiculous and very stagey but there is still
