Also would like to point out that in the musical intro to the season, Jeff and Annie did promise they would sleep together… which implies that at least Jeff's subcoinscious mind is into it.

Wasn't there a big writer's room turnaround at the end of last season? It makes sense to start slow. You can't just leap in and write Dungeons & Dragons or Human Memory before you grasp the characters and tone.

I think the power Jeff has over the other characters, his ability to manipulate, shame, and influence them is also shifting rapidly into a destructive force. The "Winger speech" ties things up by affirming that their frequently selfish behavior was actually juat a manifestation of their love for one another. But

Psht Dennis Reynolds has known that since like forever ago

He did have that goatee in the first episode… Hmm…

I just love that someone's out there making this show and that there are people out there who will point this type of thing out to me.

That bit proved Shirley's worth as a comic foil in ten amazing and hysterical seconds.

I felt bad about watching it illegally (don't have a TV/couldn't wait after I saw the "A" went up), but then I realized I will be watching it again at least twice on Hulu tomorrow, and felt better.

That is the worst book I will ever read cover to cover.

The fact that she can make herself look so awkward, unattractive, and post-scolios-y is part of how amazing at physical comedy she is. The "Sunny" crew don't do as much with hair and makeup as the "30 Rock" ones do on Tina Fey when she's playing Liz Lemon, but somehow a combination of Olson's talent and the fact that

That's so comforting to know.

Dominique looks so happy every week. She's like a very pleasant Midwestern woman on vacation.

Shit, I wish I could post a .gif that would take up half the page right now.

Hmm… true. But if you find someone sexy in real life, doesn't that also have to do with how they present themselves to you? I mean, there are plenty of good looking people that aren't "sexy," right?

Jeff Winger: sleazily sexy/not funny
Joel McHale: not sexy/super funny

The Always Sunny guys are probably just average to decently good looking dudes, but add the unbelieveable levels of funny and…. yeah. Super hot.

"Sexy" to me implies that sex is a part of the way a performer presents themselves to their audience. I would say that Silverman is the only one who consciously uses her sexual appeal as a part of her act, and even that is done in a sleazy, kind of subversive way.

I liked that Mullally's character pronnounced as many words in as many wacky ways as she could. (Wish I remembered some good examples of this.) So now even Penny's tendancy to say "a-mah-zing!" has a backstory. Love it.

I used to think she was too shrill and one-note, but from watching more intently I can see that that's intentional, and now only rarely does Coupe come across as anything but totally Jane. I'm still not sure if I'm a big fan of the character, but she's played really well and consistantly.

You don't know how to use contractions, YOU'RE a moron.
