Still being offended by Rush Limbaugh is like still marveling at the invention of the fax machine

Cheap Seats is not only the greatest thing ESPN has ever lucked into broadcasting, but one of the funniest shows ever. Great cameos by stars like Paul Rudd and Michael Ian Black. What a great show

Don't call The Troops lifesavers, call them shitheads

So we're all on board with this right? ESPN is to sports journalism what the AIDS virus was to the 1980s gay community

Comparing that song to "Atlantic City" is like comparing the 500th episode of The Simpsons to "The City of New York vs. Homer"

I would agree with that. Treme is amazing in that every character really truly does feel like they have a unique connection to the city of New Orleans. When you have characters that show a true connection to the setting they live in it makes them much more real. I think the shows that best emphasize this aer the

Good point about The Wire Todd . I would also say the same about the horribly underwatched Treme.

Oh my God AV Club reviewing Cheap Seats reviews is like the Pope visiting my little hometown church

Does The Wire have Maria Bello in a fedora? I think not

Is that Ms. Ellsworth/Garrett/Bullock?

I think for a band like Fleet Foxes, the multi-instrumentalist is a little more important than the drummer or the didgeridoo guy even

So yeah…Robin Pecknold's still there right?

After he retired from acting he and his wife moved to New Mexico, and Hackman saw a movie being filmed in Santa Fe and he goes up and asks one of the production assistants if he could be an extra or something and she had no idea who he was and turned him down.

Apocalypse Now and the two Godfathers (who the hell is Sofia Coppola? I don't know who you're referring to) are probably better films, but The Conversation was my personal favorite and in my top three for the decade behind probably Chinatown and Network.

I will say this, I have often thought about how much better the world would be if Mark Wahlberg had been on the plane that day, even if it would mean a world without The Italian Job and Shooter

So I'm assuming this is just going to be "Community got canceled Thread 2.0" right?

How about HBO? Shit, Treme probably didn't get 3 million viewers all of last season (though I was one of those viewers, every single week) and it got picked up for a 3rd season already

I don't know about that. If I lose Whitney and Community in the same day I might kill myself. Whitney is just such an innovative, well-written show. It really utilizes the laugh track and 30-something white people dialogue, two things that have never been in a show before ever.
