Tyrion asserted that a few episodes back. In order to grow, dragons need to fly & hunt & tear shit up. They can't prosper in captivity. So presumably Drogon is now a lot bigger than the other two rather than just being "the big one".

Never thought I'd say it, but he probably looked better with his earlier, "Prince Charming from Shrek" haircut. Now he merely looks like a handsome guy who'd like to lease you a Lexus.

It's certainly an argument. I'm not even sure I understand the distinction between being copies and unique individuals at that point.

I don't think you were supposed to. In a show full of blood and vengeance and oaths, he's essentially a fop. He should really be over on Galavant or something.

Zack Snyder's Watchmen was such a massive self-contradiction that it was almost impressive.

The Sand Snakes are an obnoxious waste of time but they don't really deserve the treatment they would get from Ramsay. But it'd be fun if a house dropped on them or something.

Sadly, yes. They also have a great deal of trouble finding an attractive rate on a fixed rate mortgage.

"The Faceless" tested better with audiences than "The Guys With Just a Ton of Faces, No Really, You Wouldn't Believe How Many Faces They Have. Like Lots."

That was just the goofiest shit, and a low point in an otherwise great two-parter.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: toward the end of BSG's run I was startled to learn that I was supposed to have opinions about Kat, Crashdown, Hot Dog and the rest of those bozos.

It's funny, too, because that's the same kind of horseshit that Star Trek—among countless others—has been getting away with for ages.

Kate Mara has been serviceable-to-good in just about every role I've seen her in. I'm not sure she has it in her to be truly great but the same could be said of lots of other actors.

The world that made The Big Bang Theory into a long-running #1 hit:

I was just happy Ioan Gruffud was getting work. He should fire his agent, then rehire him just so he can fire him again.

oh boy

I feel like Morbo and the Vogons would get on famously.

See, I agree with all your points, particularly about the premise. "Benevolent, enigmatic AI helps two middle-aged white men protect the innocent in NYC." Not terrible, but also not exactly appointment television.

The first season is perfectly watchable in an absent, folding-your-laundry kind of way. Not particularly compelling but moves at a good pace.

She seems nice, though she still has the most poorly defined set of powers in the MCU. It appears to be a mix of telepathy and telekenesis with a little straight-up sorcery thrown in.

That was after she escaped from the murderous husband for whom she worked as a nanny but before she got taken in by a borderline-crazy survivalist dude who wants to settle down with her to make a new race of people.
