Not a devout follower of the show, but it's my understanding that Loras is:

Colleen was cute as a button, too. One of the last great American crush objects before the Internet and social media weaponized them into something unrecognizable.

I agree. I also thought that Stewart, much as I like him, respect him and broadly agree with him on many points, came across as being—well, Axe said it himself—more than a little facile on a couple of occasions.

Yeah, it almost comes across as parody in a Mr. Smith Goes to Washington kind of way.

Fair enough. I almost prefer the IT Crowd's/your version, because it takes a run-of-the-mill expression and makes it into something almost dadaistic.

Huh. That's an interesting thing to believe.

What a very damp squib of an argument. I don't know if you're suggesting that we should resent this very successful comedian for the fact of his success, that he's ever pretended that he wasn't paid gobs of money for hosting TDS by the end, or both.

They kinda did. They thought the main cast were all douchers but were surprised to find that the movie itself agreed with them.

Hey, people still watch it and it probably costs about $500 an episode to make.

Increasingly Golden Girls? Emptier Nest? Evening Shadier? Night Court 2: Hypercourt?

Thought of another way: I don't think that Cain is the type to mince words or to shy away from reality.

Regarding your last point, from everything else we see of her character there isn't the faintest doubt in my mind that she would charge a Basestar with nothing but a combat knife.

Whaaat? I'm the furthest thing in the world from an authority on NWA or anything like it, but Google backs me up on this one. Ryder was the Eazy E analogue.

My most recently hated levels were the underwater sections from Assassin's Creed: Black Flag. Not a huge fan of swimming levels with breath limitations anyway, but getting constantly stalked and savaged by giant sharks was way more stressful than it was fun.

I'm in my middle thirties with no kids and I've still found my interest in games dropping sharply off a cliff.

"Learn to fly, Carl."

Should have done what I did and just drive the Mako in. You can totally do that with a little fiddling, then the Armature becomes a hilarious joke.

In truth, that was Big Smoke saying that, not Ryder/Eazy E. The latter did and said a lot of other stupid shit, but not that.

That was Origins, not City.

The Dolemite reference is, of course, good material. But that shit with the ice swan is truly Futurama firing on all cylinders.
