No reason, really.  It just seems more appropriate for high school sophomores during that time period.  Plus, Harris tells Daniel that Daniel's sex life immediately disqualifies him as a "loser," and says it with a bit of awe in his voice that lets you know he's probably not active in that department.

JWoww looks wow-ish.

I have to disagree that Daniel could ever be a complete loser, and thereby compared to Harris.  He's — and this seems to be a big part of the show — too damn good-looking, just like the rest of the Freaks.  Sorry if this has been covered before, but he could never be a mono-browed Harris.  High school is long on

So you were kind of like Mike Muir?

NOFX had those tendencies for a while.  Animal Liberation is flat unlistenable.  Ribbed and S&M Airlines are really forgettable albums.

Saw them in Brooklyn (I live in CT, not in BKNY) when they toured for the Gunk Punk book.  High energy, lots of dancing, actually.  A good show.  He definitely stole some glasses, as others have mentioned.  And he also mimed jamming the mic up his ass, too.

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!

Do you mean we're going to get an actual capsule review of !!Destroy-Oh-Boy!! by the New Bomb Turks on here?  I love that album.  My favorite of the nineties.

And then the Queers did "Janelle, Janelle" on Don't Back Down, iirc.  A different spelling, sure, but there's a whole lot of pop-punk about J(e)anelle going on here.

Most of the original neocons were actually former Trotskyites who broke with the left over Stalin apologia.  Irving Kristol, Daniel Bell, and a few others all had this sort of conversion.
