I'm sure it will be handled with the utmost tact, wit, and insight, and at no time will give an actual gay woman cause to be justifiably offended.

Yeah, I dunno about that one. I've read two of his books and seen No Country, and his writing is defined by understatement. It doesn't seem like something he'd put on the page.
I don't like the implication that I clicked on this article just for a closer look at her legs and frankly I'm insulted that you even brought it up.
There aren't enough sadfaces in the world.
Psycho?
Ridley Scott's visual sense + a great writer for a change. I'll take two, please.
@avclub-4acd793a645f227d84ddb7c4c3f16603:disqus Outside of actually acting on the show, he has pretty much ignored Community and It hasn't had an effect on his performance on the show, but
"Britain was never segregated"
Is it something they did in the past, or something they've done for hundreds of years and continue to do in one form or another? I'm asking for a friend.
If they don't have thick enough skin then I'm not sure they're right for the job. This isn't the Deep South we're talking about, it's Dr. Who fans on Twitter.
We have a lot more atoning to do re: black people. It's still basically legal to shoot them here.
I don't either. Juno was pretentious, but at least it showed an ability to be playful with language, which is often the sign of a good writer. Since then she's proved she's the real thing more than once, and in more than one genre; Jennifer's Body in particular is underrated. It was incredibly ballsy to follow up an…
I never notice who writes what until other commenters point it out. I wouldn't know who Sean O'Neil is if someone didn't say "another classic!!!" under every Newswire, I wouldn't know who Amelie Gilette is if someone didn't say "she's the one who likes Honey Boo Boo" under every Tolerability Index, and I wouldn't know…
Maybe this is dishonest mental gymnastics on my part
Cruel cruel cruel.
Obvious how? He tried as hard as the rest of the cast to sell last season's lame writing. The only one who had obviously checked out was Chevy Chase, but that's nothing new.
It means a story they haven't made a movie about in the last 5 years.
"Hammer, to his publicist’s audible distress"
At first I thought you said "off-beat" and was surprised about the direction the next sentence took.
I don't know if it's the "point", but it's definitely the joke. She's reduced to sleeping with Patton Oswalt, and then, when she's about to have a moment of clarity, Oswalt's sister intervenes as the one townie who still idolizes her from high school, tells her how cool she is, the moment of clarity is averted, and…
