Thank you
for killing any lingering desire I might have had to see that fucking Pelham remake.

Question
Are the discs in the set the same as the ones that have been available separately? Not that it matters much - the only one I already have is The Big Heat.

For whatever reason
this is one of the last movies my parents, my brother, and I went to see all together. I had forgotten it until now.

I remember
when Paul Harvey hosted the Oscars.

I'd watch that.

It looks like
he's going for a Kanye West thing.

Stick this in your alphabet soup!

Damn it - I already own The Big Heat but none of the others, and I am a sucker for box sets.

These "anti-PC" morons would actually watch the show they would realize Larry is on their side. Or at least he would be if they weren't such raging hypocritical douches.

I liked the birth-and-death dates.

Collections?
I'm one of those Johnny-Come-Lately motherfuckers who only reads trade paperback collections of comics. Will those be available in a similar digital form, I wonder?

Cinephile
What exactly is the qualifying factor to determine of one is a "cinephile" or not? I ask because my impression up to this point was that Mr. Handlen knew a lot about movies and wrote about them for this site fairly often. Now I find out he isn't much of a cinephile. I am confused.

"Jump the Queen!"

The reveal with Crane and Pete
was fucking brilliant. I gasped and backed it up to watch it again. Then I realized I was being silly.

Swan Killing
I loved the subject line of Jeff's email.

Some of The Bench's shorts are on DVD already as special features. They're pretty good. I'm more of a Joe McDoakes fan myself.

Yeah, well we haveā€¦fuck you!

"Tell me about Sputnik."
OK, am I crazy or did she sound a lot like Joan from Mad Men when she said that?

Carlito's Way
Glad to see it's one of her favorites.

I'm sure this has already been mentioned, but
Judge Doom in Roger Rabbit.
