Yeah I found his viciousness a bit excessive this week, especially towards Glenn. I love nothing better than a Malcolm rant but it usually comes across as being in the service of a particular strategic goal, whereas these diatribes came from a really dark place. It's exactly how I imagine Alistair Campbell really was

Such great contrast as well. The Nimoy one is one of the few where the Lieutenant really loses his rag with the murderer, he looks like he's gonna give Spock a good slap! In the Ruth Gordon one, he's almost apologetic in having to arrest her. The two ended up feeling genuine affection for eachother.
