To be fair WCOG, I don't think most prostitutes get killed because they are doing something they don't want to be doing. More likely it's the lack of legal protection, an industry built on secrecy and a overall disinterest in the victims that makes them a target for people who want to kill.

Please consider 'Boy Kills Man' - pretty astonishing bit of YA fiction

Loved that interrogation. Anyone else feel an incredibly strong 'Smiley's People' feel to the whole scene. The performances were beautifully similar.

I really wish I had something witty to say or at least could play on a meme and throw out a pop culture reference… but all I can do is feel sad and upset reading this….

I'm intrigued, I've vomit with my penis through my eyeballs, I mean, who hasn't on a fun Friday night… but how the hell am I going to vomit the whole thing through my tear ducts?

They'd better not use a Cagney and Lacey stylee, that's what I've got planned for my network spec script - 'Hijab and Bikini'. "She was an out of luck stripper and she was a fundamentalist divorcee - together they'll stop the christians."

Come on, there are issues with his recent work but a terrible writer? Zenith, The Filth, The Invisibles and Animal Man are way above the average.

Goodamn, that scene with the officer butting the spotters camera and helmet because he's getting too casual during his checks… the young kid explaining how someone just pointed at him and that was, he was in the bomb squad… and of course, the final interview with the legless ex-soldier as he plays with his kid.

Bandits
I must have watched BMX Bandits a 1000 times as a kid, easily our second favourite movie after Condorman…

disappointing
Not the show itself, though that's terrible and just gets less and less interesting, but seeing it covered here really.

Really worth tracking down 'We are Klang' to see just how gloriously mental Greg Davies and his mates are when let off the leash. I loved it in an insane Monty Python way. Great fun.

I was expecting a very different show when I saw the name… For a moment there I thought AV Club has started to review a whole new industry.

Well done man, I might have to look that book up :)

Are torrents still the thing over in the States - pretty much everyone I know here in the UK has switched over to direct downloads, especially after worries about court cases and the changes in the law.

Yeah, rewatched it earlier and the tone really is set so well by the music

Luminary
Hands down my favourite episode of Millennium - I just love it.

They've probably been told the budget for the second season means they can only have three speaking parts from now on. It'll be Waiting for Godo with swords…
