I'm reading Stephen King's "Full Dark, No Stars"; the first story, about the farmer and his son, was okay, but I'm liking Big Driver a lot more.

The Survivor finale, although I care less about finding out who wins and more about who's been voted to compete in the Second Chances season.

I'm sorry, Shulkie. Sending you an internet hug.

I started the 8 Week Weight Loss Challenge on Monday and already notice a difference in how I feel without eating sugary stuff/chocolate/etc. every day in absurd amounts.

I had a very, very vivid dream last night that my ex and I got back together, and because my hormones are a goddamn mess this week, it's really messed with my head. I haven't cried…yet…so small victories.

I've had Elle King's "Love Stuff" on repeat lately.

I've only been on one coffee date; he ended it after 40 minutes. Nighttime dates FTW.

I was so happy to see Mom on Pop come up in my podcast app this morning; I was just thinking about how much I missed the show. Best wishes to you, Bonney, and everyone else in the Teti family, too.

"The Handmaid's Tale" is another Atwood worth checking out.

I'm currently about halfway through Stephen King's "Full Dark, No Stars," and once I'm done with that, I've got "Going Clear" waiting for me on my Nook. I can't wait to fully immerse myself in the crazy.

I hope you watch "Playing House," because she and Jessica St. Clair are firing on all cylinders.

I have webbed feet and other foot issues, so sandals shopping is a waking nightmare for me. Birks are one of the very few sandals that don't require something being shoved between your first and second toes.

I grew up in a New England suburb, so it was a pretty sexually strait-laced kind of place. I don't think masturbation was covered in sex ed. We learned a hell of a lot about various forms of contraception, but very little about actual sex.

I was…25. I knew what masturbation was and had orgasms at the hand (heh) of sexual partners, but due to a variety of things too long to mention here, it wasn't until I was 25 that I gave it a try. Best discovery ever.

I don't think I realized women didn't all get off from vaginal sex/there were other ways of getting there until I was a junior in college. Maybe even a senior, because that's when I started having sex.

I used to be of the mindset that no orgasm = bad sex. However, the various psych meds I take make it a challenge (to put it mildly) to come, so with my last partner, I had to make a conscious effort not to put so much pressure on myself to orgasm and just enjoy the sensations/experience. If I do orgasm, yay! If not,

I watched BMW casually when it was on - it was never appointment viewing for me - but this show just shits all over any positive memories I had. I get that it's targeted at tween girls versus its predecessor, which had a broader appeal, but all the adult characters are simpletons with jelly for brains. I saw one

My roommate watches Girl Meets World on a regular basis, having been a Boy Meets World fan, and my god, I can't even stand to be in the same room when it's on. It's both over-the-top and boring, and it makes me sad to see Topanga reduced to a shrill harpy of a mom getting into fights with her 6-year-old son's

I wasn't sure how the podcast would be sans guests, but Julie's monologues are so engaging and entertaining she doesn't need anything else to make it a good episode.
