I remember in the mid 90's Cleese and Palin appeared on SNL I think they were promoting Fierce Creatures. They did the Parrot Sketch and it seemed very tired, or they seemed tired. It reminded me of a great band that didnt want to do a hit sinlge anymore. I got the feeling it was forced on them by hero worshiping SNL…
